 About Mermaid Merchelle - Michelle Roberts

Michelle Roberts has been performing all her life and has been fortunate to work all over the
world and for some amazing companies after completing her drama school training in 2002.
With her background as a performer, she has worked as an actor, singer, dancer and illusionist
in stage shows, on film, TV, cruise ships and in various national and international tours.

As a lifelong Mermaid enthusiast, Michelle began working as a professional Mermaid 4 years
ago and has now combined her love of Mermaids, singing and children's entertainment.
Michelle is a fully qualified Swim Teacher with Swim England (formerly ASA) and she has
combined forces with Swim England accredited Mermaid swim school Fin2Fit to champion
the safe use of mono fins in pools.

Michelle joined forces with her Husband and fellow performer Xander Black over two years ago 

and together they combine their skills to create the most 'fintastic' entertainment available.
Michelle and Xander were married in January 2018 in true Mermaid style with an ocean

themed wedding by the sea in Lytham St Annes.

About Pirate Pete - Xander Black

Xander Black has been an actor and children's entertainer since graduating from East 15

Drama School in 2008.

Children's entertainment has been his forte and he has toured the UK and Europe as a 

performer, entertainer and workshop leader. After a chance encounter with a certain 
Mermaid in Mallorca, it began a whole new adventure for him as one half of the mermazing

duo Mermaid Merchelle and Pirate Pete.
Not only a great actor and hilarious entertainer, Xander can be found event managing,

fire breathing and stilt walking!

Both Xander and Michelle have full DBS disclosure certificates and are insured through Equity.
